Hungarian Wine: Grapes, Regions and Styles

Registration

Discover Hungarian wine in just 8 hours — a course designed especially for expats and international residents who want to explore the wines of their new home.

Dive into Hungary’s key grape varieties, wine regions and iconic wine styles while tasting 12 carefully selected Hungarian wines. By the end of the day, you’ll have a solid foundation for understanding Hungarian wine — and choosing what to drink next.

No previous wine knowledge is required. The course fee includes an English-language wine book to take home and explore further.

Throughout the course, we use the principles of the Systematic Approach to Tasting to taste and compare 12 different wines. You will learn how to identify and describe the key characteristics of wine, develop your tasting skills and gain a better understanding of your own sensory perception. By the end of the course, you will be able to write clear and structured wine descriptions with greater confidence.

An English-language wine book is included for all participants.
